Currently in the north we are in the midst of the cane cutting season. The sugar farmers are harvesting the cane. The trains take it away to the processing plants. Then trucks ship the molasses and raw sugar to the port terminals, for near and far destinations. We have several cane fields near us, and it is always interesting to see at the end of the season. If the fields will again spring up with new shoots or the developers are moving in. I’m happy to see one of my favourite walking spots with the beautiful mountains surrounding has new shoots coming up, and some cane still left to cut. Progress has to happen one day, but hoping it can at least hold off for one more season.
365 days = 365 photographs..rules of engagement; 1.I have to take a photo each day, no matter where I am and what I am doing. 2. Post it, when possible. Not all the places I will be visiting have access to the web; yes I know it is hard to believe but there are still some places like that exist, and they are amazing. 3. No photos from your film library can be used or posted..remember it isn't about the destination, but the journey that takes us there..enjoy. :)
