It is amazing what you discover in your own backyard. Thankfully this gentle kitten wasn't in ours but at Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve, about an hour's leisurely drive from the CBD up the big hill, round lots of corners. Hey it is worth it. Just happened to be there the day they let the pride come rushing out at feeding time during the day, and it was quite a sight. It really is worth a visit and all the talks on the animals are great.
