My friends keep telling me that morning is the best part of the day! Mmmm well everyone is entitled to their opinion. I did the right thing this morning (got up early) and went to take photos of the ski boats departing Cairns with water-skiers; destination Cooktown. Now that is no small feat, a wee bit of a distance, not to mention the added incentive of not fallen off because of snappy hand bags in the waters. So where is the boat in this particular photo you ask? Good question, there is a boat just not the V8 one I was after. Sometimes living in the tropics time seems to stand still and the time things are suppose to happen; don’t kind of happen till later. The long and the short of it missed them. But hey check out the view, the clouds where certainly hugging the mountains this morning. So guess it wasn’t all lemons, and wishing the entire boat crews and skiers safe journey’s for when they did take off. The jury is still out on this early morning thing though! :)
