Day 283: Not nuts just Batty.

This flower would have to be one of the more unusual flowers of the tropics, the White Bat Flower.  It is extremely hard to grow, safe to say this one is not in our garden.  The white leafs form the ears, while the flowers appear as the bat’s face.  The whiskers that float down on the other hand I’m not too sure about, that’s what makes this such a different flower, in our tropical world.  They also come in purple, and a really deep red that is almost black.  If you have a glasshouse it can be grown in the cooler climates, and wouldn’t that be a talking point when it is snowing outside.
