Day 345: Treading the boards of time.

Old timber buildings and bridges scatter around our countryside and towns.  Their raw texture aged with time, exposes the life they have led.   Together with the life they still have to run.  Patterns tell us individual stories on each board, as neither is the same; it leads your eye on a vision of discovery.  Where the fractures begin and take you onto the next.   Held together by manmade bolts, as the years pass; nature commences to reclaim through disuse.  Foliage begins to fill the fractures and return it to where it once came from.
