Day 44 – Autumn Falling.

Autumn in Victoria

In Cairns and northern Queensland we really don’t have four seasons.  It is either Wet (very) or Dry, and nothing really in-between.  Winter is probably a two week window.  If you blink you’ll miss it, as the temperature may drop to 9 degrees overnight on the coast if you are lucky.  For those on top of the mountains in the Tablelands a wee bit colder.   Hard to take I know, but have to say seeing the beautiful warm colours of autumn in the flesh are a feast for the senses.  The 10 year old jumpers out of moth balls are even getting a workout.  Yahoo.
