Day 194 - Industry

The northern sugar mills are pumping out the steam.  Working in overdrive to produce this year's sugar crop.  By train and truck the sugar cane is delivered to the mills.  Marked from which farmer it comes.  Then onto the loading docks to ship out and again recorded from which mill it came.  You always know when the sugar season is around, monster tractors with gigantic cutters hit the fields.  That sweet smell fills the streets of Gordonvale.  Only a month or so to go before it all stops for another season.
