Day 285 – Story Bridge.

The Story bridge is one of the many bridges that connect Brisbane river city.  Opening on 6 July 1940, it was named after a senior public servant, John Douglas Story, who was advocate to get it done.  Until it was officially open it was named the Jubilee Bridge after King George V.    A tourist attraction on its own, it increased another tourist role in 2005.  The bridge climb was opened up to the public.
